Our inspiration is horses & countryside with an ambition to share the love we have for both. We think it is time to preserve nature for future generations and care for our horses as we treat ourselves, with high quality, organic local care products. 

 

We are friends and family. We started Terre & Horse discussing climate and what it needs to get more green & sustainable at work, over dinner, horse chatting, while the latest IPCC reports put it into black and white. We can see and feel the change and we can't look away anymore. Our horses feel it as well. 'To avoid mounting loss of life, biodiversity and infrastructure, ambitious, accelerated action is required to adapt to climate change, at the same time as making rapid, deep cuts in greenhouse gas emissions.' (IPCC)

To restore and preserve nature, we need to combine our efforts both locally and at the international level: 

    • 950 million hectares of new forests will be needed to help arrest climate change according to IPCC data. 
    • A “Global Deal for Nature” is required with ambitious biodiversity conservation targets (land and ocean) of 30% by 2030 according to the World Economic Forum. 

We want to take up stewardship by following #Campaignfornature and to co-create a horse world supporting 30x30. 

Now different generations, friends, backgrounds and believes shape our organic care & gear products for horses. This touch of care and the spirit of we are in this together we want to share with our customers and partners. We care for the world, climate, biodiversity and our horses. We strive to make a difference for you and the ones you care for.

We traded our big city background for a breath-taking view on the pyrenees in South of France.

We embody and live the global village by heart and part of this are horses, dogs as well as oak trees, passing by cats and deer.

Create sustainable, organic & highest quality care for horses

We use local, natural & organic ingredients with a no chemicals, no plastics & palm oil policy.

Traceability of ingredients

To ensure the highest levels of quality in all our products we manage & control the entire process, from raw materials to processing and its hand-made manufacturing. By using natural biodegradable ingredients we ensure an ecological and sustainable use. 

On top of that, we only use vegetable oils of organic first cold extraction production. The oils we use are free of pesticides nor are they subject to high temperatures in their extraction process with all their qualities intact.

Our soaps are hand-made with cold saponification. It’s the purest form of soap, and that’s what makes it the highest quality soap. 

We don't use plastic coating nor petroleum-based inks for our packaging and we target zero-emission, renewable & sustainable energy for sourcing, production, transportation and recycling by 2025.

 

Certified ecological circular production & products 

Our products have the ECOLOGICAL CERTIFICATION of the international and independent entity Bio-inspecta.

Products carrying this seal follow the BioVidaSana Standard, certified by Bio-inspecta. This seal promotes ethical values of production such as responsible consumption, fair trade or artisanal production. 

– They are not tested with animals.

– They do not integrate nano-particles.

– Its production process does not harm the environment or health.

– Certified organic, non-chemical and vegan ingredients.

Our laboratory passed the corresponding sanitary controls and our GHG emission off-setting is certified by Bureau Veritas on an annual basis.

For tomorrow we have the ambition to be the greenest horse care & gear platform inviting other producers to join us to provide customers with products meeting highest sustainability and zero-emission standards guaranteed. 

Keeping in mind that we are in this together green practices need to be shared. We strive to improve our business practices and share what we’ve learned to make this world a greener sustainable place. 

Putting people, horses and the planet over profit

We know we need a like-minded community to achieve a sustainable future for man and horse. We believe in supporting others in this effort and therefore we joined 1% for the planet a global network of businesses, individuals and nonprofit organizations tackling our planet's most pressing issues. 

 
We are kicking off our vision. This means we are not at zero emissions for materials, transportation and production over the product life cycle. In the mean-time we set off our GHG emissions and contribute 9% of our sales into re-greening our environment.
